Prefabricated profile mats


Using our GFRP profile mats, you can dispense with the time-consuming manual installation of cooling channels. These mats are manufactured to your specifications and can be used directly in your production process.

EMSTRADE's profile mats are made of pultruded Emsoplast© GFRP profiles which are joined with retaining and counter straps. This prevents the insulation from slipping, supports the winding layers and provides consistently uniform cross-sections for the cooling media.

The straps and profiles can be threaded, partially or fully bonded, or interlocked, as required.


Our patented interlocked profile mat –
the cost-effective alternative


Our interlocked profile mat was developed and patented in order to automate and significantly simplify production of the profile mats. Slits are cut in the GFRP profiles with precision and the retaining strap is then automatically fed through the profiles and secured with a special interlocking method to prevent the profiles from slipping. This innovative process achieves excellent reproducibility and tight tolerances.

Types of use for our EMSTRADE profile mats


The possible types of use for GFRP profiles and EMSTRADE profile mats cover a wide product spectrum. Transformers, throttles, generators or electric motors in general, or, more specifically, wind energy plants, locomotives and multiple units use our products in high-voltage environments.


Threaded rods for high-voltage fixings

Our threaded rods are manufactured with maximum precision with the diameter, length and pitch required for your application. The material, too, can be selected to suit your requirements. This is possible thanks to our in-house production facility.
